Dogs that do not come back when called are not only frustrating, but may be in grave danger. Learn why dogs don't come when called and practice ways to make "come" exciting. We will also practice "stay" and "stop" commands.

WALK! Don't pull
We love to walk our dogs, but not be walked (or dragged) by them. Teach your dog to walk and greet humans and other dogs politely while on leash.

What is mine is NOT yours! And No Barking!
Simple and respectful ways to teach your dog what belongs to him/her and what belongs to you. No more counter surfing, digging up the yard, chewing up yours shoes, or jumping on you. We will also discuss/demonstrate ways to stop inappropriate barking. We will practice proper indoor introductions to other dogs and even cats.

Introduction to Agility
Agility can be fun and beneficial to dogs of all sizes. Whether you are interested in competition or just having some fun with your dog; you and your dog can learn to work together as a team in this class.

Speaking Dog
Rediscover your world from your dog's point of view by learning to speak their native language; creating a loving, natural and trusting bond with your pet. Learn to train your dog to do almost anything in a loving and respectful manner. Excellent for all who live with or work with dogs.
Note: This class is for humans only, do not bring your dogs. Demo dogs will be provided.

Canine Good Citizenship
This evaluation is done according to American Kennel Club Standards, and test your dog's ability to interact with other dogs, humans and in unknown situations. The test is open to all dogs over 6 months of age. (For more information on the CGC visit www.akc.org/events/cgc )

Canine Good Manners/Star Puppy Class
A combination puppy and adult dog obedience class. A six week class to strengthen the bond between you and your dog. We begin with Speaking Dog, teaching you to communicate better with your dog, teach basic commands including leash walking, coming when called, and greeting other dogs politely, as well as a few tricks. We'll end with the Canine Good Citizenship Test
Cost $90 per dog/handler or couple , $30 per additional dog in same household.

Therapy Dog Academy
This class teaches future therapy dogs how to behave while visiting. An experienced therapy dog handler and evaluator will demonstrate proper greeting behaviors, specialized commands to bring your dog closer to those you visit, and how to make visitations more enjoyable for you and your dog. Please note that this class is not required by any organization for certification and/or registration.
Cost $65 per dog/handler

First Aid for Pet Parents
Learn how to help your vet save your pet's life by providing crucial information and first aid. We will demonstrate proper restraint to keep you and your animal safe, as well as CPR and simple first aid and emergency care. This course is 2 parts, 2 hours each.
Do not bring your pet, demo animals will be provided.
Cost $ 65

Off Leash Manners
The same behaviors we learned in Canine Good Manners, including heeling, coming and interacting nicely with other dogs, except off-leash. This class will be held in a secure area for safety.
Cost $60, $40 for additional dogs from the same household.

- Dogs must be at least 12 weeks old and be current on age appropriate vaccinations.
- One dog per handler please. Additional human family members may attend class for $5each (Couples are encouraged to attend Canine Good Manners and Star Puppy classes, for no extra charge)
- No retractable leashes, chain leashes or leashes longer than 6 feet please.
- Classes may need to be cancelled with short notice due to weather. You MUST include a phone number where you can be reached or will check messages 2 hours prior to scheduled class time.
- Class registration will close 24 hours prior to class time. Drop-ins cannot be accommodated at this time.
