Caring Paws Pet Therapy Program

Our Mission:

To bring joy and loving support to people experiencing difficult times.

About Us:

Officially formed in August 2005, we are a group of dedicated volunteers; consisting of Pet Therapy Teams, pet sitters, foster families and veterinary professionals dedicated to enhancing the lives of animals and humans,

Our Services:

Pet Therapy-Our trained and experienced Pet Therapy Teams provide visitations to hospitals, assisted living facilities, hospice, schools, libraries and individuals upon request.

Placement-We assist in locating foster or adoptive homes to animals whose humans can no longer care for them.

Assistance-We work through referrals from local groups and churches to provide assistance to animals whose humans are financially or physically limited.

Education-We educate people about pet therapy through seminars, open houses and demonstrations. To request a demonstration, please email Marie

Our services are always free of charge.

Registration:

Currently all of our Therapy Dog Teams are registered through Therapy Dogs Inc and our therapy cats are currently pursuing registration with Delta Society Pet Partners. We welcome therapy pets registered/certified through any national recognized and insured organization.
