COVID 19 Social Distancing

In compliance with CDC and Colorado state guidelines, we have adjusted our practices.
All in-person consultations are conducted with the safety of our clients, staff and animals in mind.
When possible consultations will be conducted outside.
All classes, except Speaking Dog, will be conducted outside.
Our staff will wear face coverings, and we require that our clients do the same.
Physical distancing and non-contact are practiced whenever physically safe to do so.
Group classes will be restricted to 10 humans (including staff members).
Pre-registration is REQUIRED, and the number of people attending must be included on the registration form.
Please notify us immediately if anyone in your household has any signs of illness or may have been exposed to COVID 19.
We continue to offer remote/video consultations for cats and some dog issues.
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT WE RESERVE A 15- MINUTE WINDOW TO APPOINTMENT TIMES, FOR CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL.
CANCELLATION POLICY: We require 24 hours notice to cancel any consultation/training session. Appointments cancelled without 24 hours notice (prior to appointment time) will be charged the full price of the scheduled session. We do not routinely make reminder calls or emails. Remembering your appointment time is your responsibility. Once an appointment is cancelled, it cannot be reinstated if you change your mind. As soon as a cancellation is received, appropriate staff members are notified and that time slot is offered to other clients.
RESCHEDULING POLICY: We understand that life sometimes changes, and we will accommodate requests to reschedule appointments with at least 24 hours notice. Appointments will only be rescheduled for free once! Multiple requests to reschedule an appointment will result in a $10 reschedule fee.
PAYMENT POLICY: Payment is required at time of service, or at time of registration for classes. We accept cash, personal checks, and all major credit cards. Returned checks will be charged a $25 fee, plus 5% interest for each 30 days after notification.
REFUND POLICY: No refunds will be given . An account credit may be issued for unused or partially used retail items or pre-paid services at the discretion of Canine Behavior Counseling..
CONFIDENTIALITY POLICY: Canine Behavior Counseling respects and protects the confidentiality of our clients. We do not share names, addresses or any other identifying information about our clients with anyone else without your express permission. CBC does submit a copy of all behavior consultation reports to your veterinarian as part of our service.
COURTESY POLICY-: We pride ourselves on our ethical and professional conduct. We do not discriminate based on race, religion, sexual orientation or for any other reason. Our services are open to all. Disrespectful, racist, sexist or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated from representatives or clients. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE OR TERMINATE SERVICE to anyone who violates this or any of our stated policies.
GROUP CLASS ATTENDANCE POLICIES
Control: I understand that bringing animals together in any setting presents potential health and safety risks. Although all reasonable care will be taken to protect the safety and health of myself and my animal, I agree to release Canine Feline Behavior Counseling from any and all liabilities. I agree to control my animal at all times, except when the instructor has physical control of said animal, and to follow all verbal instructions given to me by the instructor.
Vaccines/Health: I state that my animal is current on vaccinations for distemper, parvo-virus, and rabies, as age appropriate. If my animal shows any signs of illness, I will not bring my animal to class. I am aware that even with vaccination these and other disease may be present in class locations. I release Canine Feline Behavior Counseling and any or all of its agents from any liability if my animal becomes ill after attending this class.
Registration Deadline/Payment: I understand that class registration closes 48 hours before class, and payment must be received at the time of registration. Payments cannot be accepted at the time of class.
Missed/Makeup Classes: I understand that only one makeup class is scheduled for each session. Any missed classes, regardless of the reason and/or whether or not notification is given, may be forfeited with no other option to make up the class or any refund of monies. If I must miss a class, I agree to give Canine/Feline Behavior Counseling at least two hours notice before the start of class. It is at the discretion of Canine/Feline Behavior Counseling whether I will be allowed to make-up or receive credit for the missed class, outside of the already scheduled makeup class. I further understand and agree that one no-show without prior notice of at least two hours will result in myself and my animal being removed from the remainder of the class session without refund or recourse.
